The rapidly expanding augmented and virtual reality market carries countless parallels to the the westward expansion of the early nineteenth century; new territory is discovered daily, fueled by exploding technological innovation, great spoils are being won and lost – often by the people you’d least expect – and a future we’ll all be a part of is being carved by women and men who, having tasted the promise of a new world, will risk everything for progress.
Eager to carry this spirit into our work with VR and AR, we brought the Trainrobber brand to life with an identity, site and video that we felt payed homage to our pioneering forebears while putting our mission – to create virtual and augmented reality unlike anything the world has seen – before all else.
We were grateful to be acknowledged for our web and mobile site development with Site of the Day honors from both Awwwards and The FWA, two of the most prestigious website award organizations.
