NASM tasked Nurture with spearheading a photography campaign that fortified its reputation as the global leader in personal training certification.
Anchored by its robust and challenging curriculum, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has been the go-to personal training certification and education platform for the world’s top personal trainers for more than 20 years.
Despite its renown within the industry, however, NASM’s imagery and brand messaging were disjointed, outdated and struggling to cultivate the appearance of an organization keeping up with the times – fitness enthusiasts considering a personal training career were embracing NASM’s competitors, who were succeeding in selling a sleeker and trendier (but ultimately inferior) product.
NASM was in need of a facelift that would grow the brand’s popularity on social media and revitalize its print materials.
Nurture spent 3 days with NASM-certified personal trainers capturing them in their element – training clients at the gym, on the beach, in picturesque parks and on a pristine studio stage in Los Angeles.
Our mission: call attention to the power of NASM-certified personal trainers to inspire, uplift and change lives, and produce images that feel fresh, spontaneous and contemporary.
We took 13,000 photos, NASM picked out the best of them for retouching, and in the end, a brand was reignited.
